3OH!3 consists of Sean Foreman, born August 27, 1985 (age 24) and Nathaniel Motte, born January 13, 1985 (age 25); both of whom are natives of Boulder, Colorado. The pair met in a physics class while attending the University of Colorado. 3OH!3 is also known for their hand sign, referenced in their song "Holler 'til You Pass Out", performed by touching two thumbs and forefingers. After playing in Denver during the Warped Tour 2008, 3OH!3 signed on for all venues of Warped Tour 2008, and their song, "Crazy Asshole Chikz", is featured on the Warped Tour 2008 Tour Compilation. The band had sung a birthday song sent out to Dana Merrick, requested by Jaime Wescoup, at their concert in B.C at venues such as, Bamboozle Left. The band later headlined the 2009 Alternative Press Tour across the U.S. with Family Force 5, The Maine, A Rocket to the Moon, and Hit The Lights. The band contributed an original theme song titled "Sex on the Beach" for MTV's The Real World: Cancun. The band performed in Panama City Beach, Florida for MTVU's Spring Break in March 2009, which they opened for upcoming rapper Sid Hyet. In summer 2009 they also appeared at the Reading/Leeds festivals in the Uk.
3OH!3's second album on Photo Finish Records, Want, was released on July 8, 2008. It reached #44 on the Billboard 200. "Don't Trust Me" has been controversial, as some have accused the band of misogyny.
They are currently recording their 3rd Studio Album called "Streets of Gold" it is due out June 29th. A song recently leaked titled "Hey" featuring Lil Jon. There is no confirmation that this is their next single.
On February 5, 2010 it was announced that Cobra Starship and 3OH!3 would be embarking on a co-headlining tour called The Too Fast For Love Tour, opening acts are Travis McCoy of Gym Class Heroes's side project Travie McCoy and The Lazarus Project and I Fight Dragons. The tour will run from April 28 in Milwaukee, WI, until June 11 in Philadelphia, PA.
They have also worked with Lisa D'Amato of America's Next Top Model.
